Sometimes I get flustered about still having to do administrative things with this club even though it’s not my job, but then I realize that I’m teaching people how to keep a legacy alive.
It’s also going to make a bunch of kids really, really happy somewhere down the road.
Jersey sale 2013. Coming soon.

I have to say
I really can’t believe that there are only two days left of my last home game before I graduate. This week is going so quickly. I hate that I have to spend so much time in class and at work, otherwise I would have been a much better zombie.
Every time I get home, I just want to do nothing. Not cook dinner, not take a shower, not finish my work. Just sit and decompress.
I hope I can get caught up before BG. Which is another ridiculously exciting thing! I can’t believe that’s my last invitational before I graduate! I can’t wait to see Melinda and Natalie, and all of our friends from other schools. I know my mom laughs at me every time I tell her about how much this game has changed my life, but the past four years of playing it formed my college experience like nothing else has.
And with that, I should go edit papers. Or sleep. But mostly edit papers.

Only four days until the game starts! Stay tuned for more updates.

Apparently UNCW is getting HvZ. What’s that about an awesome creative writing grad program?

Had my first missed connection ever
I’m on the train and some guy sits down next to me. He sees the pin on my backpack and says, “I like your pin, what’s it for?” I explain that it’s from a game that’s played on college campuses called Humans vs. Zombies. He replies, “That’s really cool! I used to work in gaming.” It turns out that he worked on the 3D designing for Black Ops. It also turns out that he got to play Starcraft before it was released to everyone else. He works at a bank now.
We got off the train at the same stop, but we never traded names or contacts or anything. Instead, we derped off into the distance, probably never to see each other ever again.
