TOMORROW

What flavor should I get???

What do you do when you see your high school,

four years after you graduate, in internet articles about the drama club that you helped to create?

You cry.  You cry and cry and cry.

Because you remember the painful days of trying to make it work, the teenage struggles that dissolved into color-music and screaming silence.

Because there are basement days, studio days, cafeteria days, lab days, black box days, all of them are far and still so close.  You can hear the breath in the tiles…they still sigh your stories under new feet every day, every year you’ve been gone.

Because you can still remember what it feels like to get that new box of hoodies and get invited to conventions.

You realize that you cry because you started something.  You let new generations live the dream, so to speak.

Keep them dreaming.
